topless94style Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 How to replace on a 94 LQ1? I think i can get at it with a wrench but im not sure. Do i have to pull the plenum? Well, I know i will have to because my friend broke it when we replaced the gasket, and it was at midnight so i couldnt replace it, and had to work the next morning so we had no choice but to duct tape the connecter to the sensor. Pretty sure that is messing up my car now, since that is the code im getting, causing two quad driver codes. Anyway if i didnt have duct tape on there would i still have to pull the plenum? Tryin to decide if i should be really pissed at my friend or not. He also broke my passenger door handle Quote
Heza Posted January 15, 2004 Report Posted January 15, 2004 i just changed it before i left for Iraq on my 3100. i would think it would be in the same or near the same spot as the LQ1. anyway...i got mine out with a angle connection on the ratchet and got it from there. then needlenosed the sensor out. getting it back in was just as much of a pain in the ass, but not bad. took about 20 minutes to do.
