sspeedstreet
I'm in the process of installing a 1992 VIN X into my 1988 Fiero 5-speed. I have been poring over my ’88 Fiero and ’92 Lumina service manuals about the clutch anticipation switch for the D22 input on a 9396 ECM. The diagram in the Lumina manual shows the clutch anticipation switch wired in series with the brake anticipation switch. I know this is done to disengage the cruise control when either pedal is depressed. I don’t see how I can wire the D22 to this circuit without having a signal sent when the brake is applied. Is there another switch on the Lumina clutch pedal? Neil

Guest TurboSedan
my car used to be auto, but now has a Getrag 282 swapped in. here is the way mine is: there is a brown wire coming from the underdash wiring harness that *used* to go to terminal 'G' on the CC module under the dash. this brown wire i think sent the signal from the brake switch to turn the CC off. the brown wire now goes directly to the clutch switch. then a brown/white wire comes out of the clutch switch and goes to terminal 'G' on the CC module. CC works great now joshua
