topless94style Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 There is a local automotive performance shop that has a dyno. I contacted them and it costs $80 for 2 pulls. Does this sound like a good price or too expensive? I have never paid to put a car on a dyno so i dont know how much a good price is. Quote
LukeZ34 Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 Seems high to me. There isn't a dyno anyhwere near our town.. but the one we used in the 2002 Gm W-Body Gathering was like $35 for 3 pulls. But I think there was a little group discount in there too. Quote
Flyby736 Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 Thats about what it costs here, if you get a group going there is usually a discount though. Quote
Mint Euro92 Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 I paid 85 for 3 pulls at my local chevy dealer for my truck ----------------- Quote
slick Posted January 11, 2004 Report Posted January 11, 2004 Around here there is a place that starts out at $75 and goes up to about $150. Not sure on the pulls, but that $150 includes tuning time. Quote
god910 Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 I'd give a nut to pay $40 for a dyno run in town. It just isn't around here. I haven't looked to Indy yet, but I guess I should do that. I'm intersted in what the TGP would come out at. Quote
topless94style Posted January 12, 2004 Author Report Posted January 12, 2004 Yea i am anxious to see what kind of power i have at the wheels. Not that i have done many mods to my car, but just to see what i have. Quote
MaroonRegal Posted January 12, 2004 Report Posted January 12, 2004 $40 per run is the cheapest I've seen in Lincoln. Quote
