Dannymik Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 I know this has been on here a bunch, but I need a quick answer on how to adjust my door switch. When I go to open he door from the outside I pull on the handle and the door will not open unless I pull really hard. So I went outside and opened the cover and took this picture. Now what do I adjust...any specific tools needed. Thanks Dan Quote
Guest Anonymous Posted January 3, 2004 Report Posted January 3, 2004 See the threaded rod? Unclip it and turn the barrel up. Give 2 or 3 turns at a time and try it. Quote

Dannymik Posted January 3, 2004 Author Report Posted January 3, 2004 Ok turby...the non threaded rod controls the lock assembly. The threaded one is for the handle. Anyways I unclipped the threaded rod and adjusted the little "nut" on it upwards and the door is opening fine. I've had this aftermarket part for a little more that 2 yrs acting up on me. These door handles are as bad as our brakes . Thanks turby! Quote
