GRANDFURY
Anyone ever heard of these guys ? seems like an alright idea if it would work right and was cheap do you think you'd need a different tranny with that set up? http://www.engine-parts.com/GMV6/gm2834stkr.html
GRANDFURY
I just read it more and they seem kinda like bone heads only 185 hp not worth it to me.
conley3.1
That would probably work on a 3.1, too, wouldn't it?
runt
Not too sure about the 3.1, but after reading what type of cars that works in, it seems like it's for the RWD cars with the 2.8. I always thought that the 2.8 in the W's (and other FWD cars) was different from the 2.8's in RWD cars. :?: I really am unsure...lol

slick
Yeah, no distributor. GM sells the kit themselves.
cutlassdude96
RWD 2.8 have iron heads, FWD 2.8 have aluminum heads
L67wanaB
Yeah, no distributor. GM sells the kit themselves. I haven't seen this kit offered by GM. I have seen the 2.8 - 3.1 stroker kit. Have a link? Anyone have thoughts on how this would affect a turbo 3.1?

brian89gp
The 2.8-3.1 kit includes a 3.1 crank, pistons, and rods. It uses parts that can be bought even through GM. The 2.8-3.4 kit is the same as above except they bore the block out and use 3.4 DOHC pistons.
