I just read it more and they seem kinda like bone heads only 185 hp not worth it to me.

Not too sure about the 3.1, but after reading what type of cars that works in, it seems like it's for the RWD cars with the 2.8. I always thought that the 2.8 in the W's (and other FWD cars) was different from the 2.8's in RWD cars. :?: I really am unsure...lol

dont the ones in RWD cars use a distributor ? the ones in the W's use distributorless ignition, i think?

RWD 2.8 have iron heads, FWD 2.8 have aluminum heads

Yeah, no distributor. GM sells the kit themselves.

 

I haven't seen this kit offered by GM. I have seen the 2.8 - 3.1 stroker kit. Have a link?

 

Anyone have thoughts on how this would affect a turbo 3.1?

fiero is a citation powertrain just a FWD setup set mid in the car

 

im pretty sure the one i saw had allumi heads it got the stroker kit from ARI in missouri

The 2.8-3.1 kit includes a 3.1 crank, pistons, and rods. It uses parts that can be bought even through GM.

 

The 2.8-3.4 kit is the same as above except they bore the block out and use 3.4 DOHC pistons.
