Redfox340
Grinding of any kind is bad. When does it happen; only when you apply gas? Is it right as you start off, or all the time? How's the tranny fluid? - Erik
Intlcutlass
You probably have a broken thrustwasher. Be carefull here. If you change the fluid and the filter, you could help your tranny or hurt it. If you do decide to chande the filter, crack the old filter open (once its off) and see if there is anything plastic pieces in there. Chances are...thats whats left of your thrustwasher. Either way you might be looking at a rebuild on the tranny in the next 20-40k.
OldsmoBeast
It is noticable whenever i apply gas....hot or cold....especially noticable when i'm in 2nd and i floor it, right before the kickdown....i can only hear it with the windows open though. I'm going to have a shop do a tranny flush soon..... :?
