Blaze420
For my Exhaust System I am goig to buy a set of Headers from Steve Hamm (if he still makes them, I don't know if he does.) Take off the Cat. Converter, run straight 2.5" pipe down the whole car and a Borla ProXS Muffler that has a 2.5" center/inlet and a 2.5" center/outlet on it and, maybe a Borla ProXS Large Round Exhaust Tip with a 2.5" inlet and a Height 4" - Width 4" outlet. What do you guys think about that? Or would a Cat-Back Exhaust System be better?

It is especially critical in the header area - but consider this, 2.5" pipe is used on chevy 350's, ask yourself if you flow as much as a 350 will - the larger the pip is early on, the more cooling effect it will have. Vegeta
A stock 350 running single 2.5" exhaust is a pretty weak 350. I have one of those sitting in a 74 cutlass actually, 170 hp. A 350 can flow a very wide range. The Steve Hamm headers are overpriced unless he doesn't charge 650 anymore. They aren't equal length but its not easy to fit that in the engine bay anyway with them all equal and a decent size (but possible) Most likely it will be using 2.25" collectors, but possibly 2". Find out what the collectors are first before you decide on your exhaust tubing out the back.

dkorinko
It depends on how far u want to go with the car, i mean if later down the road u plan to keep adding more and more stuff, then 2.5 should be alright, I'm sure u will enjoy the sound and its not like its going to slow ur car down that much. If u dont plan on doing much work, i would go 2 and 1/4" but if u have some plans for ur ride, 2.5 should be fine.

conley3.1
Well, if it makes you happy, the C6 Corvette Z06 is supposed to have an LS7 6.3l V8, with about 500 hp. And, the reason all the power levels from the muscle car era went way way down (for example, 69 L88 ZL1 Corvette made nearly 600 hp with its aluminum 427, and the corvette of just 5 or 6 years later only made like, 190 hp) is because of new government engine restrictions due to emissions, and the HP rating system changed from net hp to SAE. Or vice versa. something liket hat. The stupid 85 mph speedo came from those emissions laws too... how did that help? Stupid government. phantomFE3
yeah but there were only 69 of those zl1's made 500 hp for the new vette isnt bad, its gettin up there with the viper
slick
Aparantly a ton of people have emailed him about his headers, and no reply, so im guessing he's out of business. Plus, his are WAY overpriced. You could make them yourself for less than half the price.
