I'm running around with my highbeams on but lately they will cut out for awhile then come back. anyone have any idea where this problem might be? marcus
Guest Anonymous
Maybe a relay going bad?
idbeast
Yes, it sounds like the headlight relay to me also
Guest Anonymous
The relays are under the pass. side cover where the computer is. Swap in a known good relay from something like your AC or fans and see if that fixes it.

Marcus18
HOLY GRAAL! I've been tracking down the wires since about 2pm I tracked it down to under the dash. now you saved me a few hours. will this affect my tail lights too? I had to splice my bottum brake lights into my third brake light. I also had to splice my side running lights into the rear lights. now I shall go and take my glove box out. THANKS! marcus
Marcus18
well I went out took it apart looked at the box and saw the melted wires. I wiggled one and my low beams came on. I bought some glass lenses for my headlights and put them on. after getting it to work I put the bulbs in the lights for testing and WOW the glass lenses are killer compared to the plastic junk ones. marcus

LukeZ34
So.. A little off topic here. But if I buy a a DIC from an STE, will I benefit by having that external module for it? I know not all of the features will work on it, but is that something that is required?
