bryanjoseph
I timed my '91 GTP, an automatic, at about 10.5 sec. from 0-60. Published numbers for a 3.4L GTP with an automatic when new are at 8.5 sec for 0-60. Obviousy you'd expect an engine with 125 000 miles to be a little worn but this seems to be a large loss of power. Besides internal engine wear of piston rings, etc , What other worn engine parts would decrease the performance of an engine?

whitetrack
... could also be that the catalytic converter is breaking down. When that happens is clogs the pipe and builds up back pressure, reducing performance.
