JPaganel Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 I got to thinking today (I know, it's a bad habit, I oughta quit) and something occurred to me. I have an Astro van that I haven't driven in a while. I have to give it a new exhaust before it is driveable, plus it needs some bodywork. Damn highschool chicks... (I wonder if I could re-create a quarter panel out of fiberglass... I don't know how to weld, :dammit: ) When I got it, I was going to tow a trailer and so I put in a tranny cooler. So I thought that cooler running improves any transmission, and I think I will put a trans cooler on my Cutty. While looking at coolers on eBay I saw some oil coolers. :?: Now come the questions: What do you think about adding an oil cooler to a 3.1? Would it be good? Bad? Pointless? How do you hook one up? :?: Quote
gpse3200 Posted November 8, 2002 Report Posted November 8, 2002 I don't think you'll need the engine oil cooler, esspecially if you have short summers and stuff. A trans cooler though is a great idea. Quote
