92blackz34
will a 5 x 114.3 bolt right onto a lumina z34? or would i need spacers and stuff like that caz of vibration. or is 5 x 115 the only ones that will bolt on without any of that other stuff
Redfox340
Yes, they will bolt on, but you need to take backspacing into consideration. Depending on the wheel you may or may not need spacers to clear the brake calipers. - Erik P.S. WHOO HOO! 2000 posts! :read:

Redfox340
is it bad to have spacers on? Spacers are not a bad thing, however many don't use them for correct applications. No, you shouldn't have issues with spacers, but you may need to invest in longer wheels studs. - Erik
ismellrealbad
114.3 is a millimeter measurement. .7 of one mm is like almost microscopic
Compufreek
Why would you have to watch for caliper clearance on these rims?
92blackz34
my car has a +38 offset with a +40 or 42 work on there fine? wth the 114.3 pattern
GnatGoSplat
Why would you have to watch for caliper clearance on these rims? Because the way they are designed, the caliper and caliper bracket especially stick out quite far in the front. More than any other car. Wheels with the proper bolt pattern and offset sometimes don't fit due to insufficient caliper clearance. Only 2 ways to know for sure if the wheels you want will fit first-gen W-body without actually trying first: 1) It's made for the car (i.e. factory wheels). 2) Someone else with a W-body has them and they fit. Best rule of thumb with these cars, is try before you buy.
