90KUTTY Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 Okay heres the problem, I just noticed this about a week ago, when I stop at a light or at a stop sign and punch the gas it hesitates for a second and then gets full power it doesn't want to die its like no movement then boom all the power comes in. any help will help Quote

TGPilot Posted December 15, 2003 Report Posted December 15, 2003 Can you reproduce the surge by having the car in neutral and very slowly pushing the accelerator? If you can I would say TPS (Throttle Position Sensor) has a dead spot at the bottom... 8) Quote
