ron350 Posted January 24, 2022 Report Posted January 24, 2022 (edited) Does any one have pictures showing how to replace the wiper spray hose fitting in this picture? I removed the 2 sheet metal screws holding this thing to the firewall but could not take it apart. Edited January 24, 2022 by ron350 jiggity76 1 Quote
jiggity76 Posted January 29, 2022 Report Posted January 29, 2022 You might not like my answer. I think in order to get that out, even with those screws out, you have to pull the cowl cover off. The part that covers the wiper arms and motor. Of course you'll have to pull the wipers as well. Here's a pic from when I pulled the cover off so that I could clean all the sand out of that area. You can see that harness there on the bottom of my pic. Quote
ron350 Posted January 29, 2022 Author Report Posted January 29, 2022 Jiggity76 thanks for the help. I was afraid all that had to came apart so I will do without wiper fluid spray for a while. jiggity76 1 Quote
jiggity76 Posted January 29, 2022 Report Posted January 29, 2022 Getting the caps off of the wiper arms is the hardest part. The rest is pretty self explanatory. Just take your time and you'll see how it's all put together. Quote
rich_e777 Posted January 31, 2022 Report Posted January 31, 2022 (edited) I thought taking out the wiper assembly was hard but its very simple. I broke that thing the hose connects to as well on my `94 CS but never got around to replacing it. IIRC theres not even a reason for the hose to go there, one could drill a hole right next to it and bypass it. I may be wrong though, its been a long time ago since that.
