94CSC
Close to buying this ‘93, link below. He’s at $7980 with $179 dealer fee. Newer tires, real window seals are shot, and for some reason he said the keys won’t unlock the car-don’t know why. Car has a new top as well. 4 owner car, no accidents. Clean car fax. Does the price seem reasonable to move forward? https://www.autotrader.com/cars-for-sale/vehicledetails.xhtml?listingId=606545304&zip=30080&referrer=%2Fcars-for-sale%2Fsearchresults.xhtml%3Fzip%3D30080%26city%3DSmyrna%26incremental%3Dall%26modelCodeList%3DCSUPR%26makeCodeList%3DOLDS%26listingTypes%3DUSED%26sortBy%3Drelevance%26location%3D%5Bobject%2BObject%5D%26state%3DGA%26searchByDma%3Dfalse%26firstRecord%3D0%26marketExtension%3Dinclude%26relevanceConfig%3Drelevance-v2%26searchRadius%3D0%26isNewSearch%3Dfalse&listingTypes=USED&numRecords=25&searchByDma=false&firstRecord=0&modelCodeList=CSUPR&makeCodeList=OLDS&searchRadius=0&makeCode1=OLDS&modelCode1=CSUPR&clickType=listing Edited December 31, 2021 by Eric jiggity76

94CSC
Wow…love that kinda stuff. Thanks so much for sharing. I’ve done a bit of searching here, appears those rear seals are not made anymore and parts cars are the only option? I’m guessing I could get a locksmith to address the key situation unless the entire mechanism needs to be replaced…

I've heard the 3rd gen Camaro's and Firebird's can be used with some modification and are still available. Some good junkyard units can still be had as well but they will be rare. rich_e777
Yes the F-body rear window sweeps work but thats about the only seal we are able to replace. All other weather stripping and seals for convertibles are extremely rare NOS ones which are probably gone by now or find used ones in the JY/Ebay. No company in the world makes parts for these cars anymore, they aren't like the G-bodies from the 80`s with part catalogs and aftermarket support.
