Yikes. Time to get that belt replaced.

How long has that engine been sitting unused?

No. This W- Body has been a daily driver since 1996, bought it in 2000 with 44K on the clock and it drove daily.

I got mine done, around $1200, I bought my 1994 CS new, it was replaced at 5000 due to oil fouling (warrantee job), I just got it replaced after 88,000 and 26 years. The fact it was that old prodded me into getting it replaced.

Wow.  That seems entirely unreasonable.

you bet it is. Here in the Northeast though, it's run of the mill. Glad I got it done though.

What is the shop rate per hour?

How many hours are they pretending it takes?

Their markup on parts must be phenomenal.
