06goat75
I've been sorting out the AC in my '95 3.4. It developed a small leak, which I think I tracked down. The valve in the low pressure side is leaking, so gonna replace it. While sorting the AC out, the compressor has developed a squeal, no matter if the clutch is engaged, or not. AC has never been something I've enjoyed working on, so trying to figure the best way forward. Is a compressor replacement necessary? Or can I just do the clutch/pulley? Can you even replace the clutch in the car? Or is removal necessary, which at that point, might as well replace the entire compressor. Thanks for the advice! Schurkey
I bet the '95 service manual would have the info on whether the clutch could be replaced in-car. First Guess: No room for tool clearance.
