284 release bearing

Hey all need help on my clutch release bearing for my 284. I need to either source a correct one or find a replacement option such adapting a similar one.

A off the shelf clutch kit will come with one.

  And if you’re that far probably best to replace the clutch anyways!    
 

if you must only get the bearing.  I wonder if spec would sell seperately?

They won't. I've asked them in the past. It seems the only way is to get one in a clutch kit. However, they all appear to be the same bearing, so just get the cheapest kit out there and save the clutch for a rainy day.

I actually may have found it. I called spec and they told my the bearing number was a N1759SA borgwarner which crosses to a 614069 timken that was able to source. The reason I didnt get a a whole kit is cause I got my clutch & pressure plate rebuilt along with getting my flywheel resurfaced and it was only $80 vs. The expensive kit. However I didnt realize it was so hard to find the damn bearing.
