1992 convertible latch

So my 1992 is in the shop with 67,000 miles on it getting a new top. They broke the passenger side convertible latch. Does anyone have an extra or know where to get one?

Most likely the junkyard.  Do you have a part # by chance?

If they broke it, it should be up to them to replace it at their expense. Besides, the trim shop is probably better able to source one. What part of the latch broke? I wonder if it might interchange with other GM convertibles of the era—Camaro/Firebird, Cavalier/Sunbird or Reatta. I can't imagine that GM wouldn't have reached into the existing parts bins whenever possible.

My 1992 cutlass supreme latch hook also just broke and my searches online have not been fruitful.  Searching online used cars lots is hard for this small part.

Any ideas on where to find this?
