Factory CD changer install?

Hi,

 

I am wondering if I could install a factory 12 disc CD changer 25678544 in my 1995 Pontiac Grand Prix? 

I replaced the factory cassette radio with a 1998 CD 7 band eq radio and I am curious to see if I can add a factory CD changer from a 98 firebird or similar vehicle?

Maybe. What model did you get the CD out of? If I recall, not all CD players could control the CD Changer. I think it was like 2000+ Monsoon ones in the trans ams that could. The Cassettes could though.

I'm not sure what model it came out of since I got it from a friend but I think that it came out of a grand prix. It has a sticker on it that says 1998.

JimmyFloyd is exactly correct. Only certain Monsoon CD players out of 2000+ Firebirds have CD changer control capability.  Most Pontiac cassette players with 7-band equalizers of the same era can control CD changers.
