MaroonRegal
Oh man that sucks! You'd about have to weld it back together to fix it.
93GTP
Can't the tube simply be hauled up out of it's hole? Is there enough there to grasp? I guess you could tap the tube remainiong in the hole, thread a bolt into it, and haul it out using the bolt. But that will send metal filings into your basepan. Maybe you can remove your basepan and then do that? You can probably get it out anyway if you had the basepan off. I'm not sure, I've never had mine off. AWeb80
Use a spiral tap.....the filings should spiral up out of the tube....just my $.
92turboLE
YES, the tube comes out with relative ease actually. If you have the pan off, you should be able to get to it. it should stick out a few inches into the block. Plent of tube to grab a hold of... my suggestion, take a rubber/plastic dead blow hammer and tap it out from underneith until you have enough to grab ahold of ontop. then get some vice grips and give it a little tug/twist, should come right out. They arent too expensive at the dealer (like under $15 bux. I had to pick one up for my other motor. I dont remember a part number though - i will try and find one for you. - Justin
