bluecalais79 Posted December 22, 2019 Report Posted December 22, 2019 Quick Question, can a Series 1 or Series 2 1997 Cutlass Supreme that lacks a Variable Effort Power Steering set up easily have this option installed? I'm looking at a dirt low mileage Series 1 CS and not having this option is a real turn off. Quote
digitaloutsider Posted December 22, 2019 Report Posted December 22, 2019 IIRC, it consists of only the EVO pump and a controller box somewhere. Years ago, a guy with a GP SE sedan installed it in his car. I cannot for the life of me remember his username, just his car. If you search around you might be able to find it. Quote
RobertISaar Posted December 24, 2019 Report Posted December 24, 2019 I'm fairly certain there is a steering wheel position sensor and i know for the Obd1 cars, the function is actually controlled by the ABS module. That may have changed for the obd2 cars, but I don't know. Quote
