What should I use?

The STE has really stiff hinges and door latches right now.  What would be good to use to loosen/lubricate them up so everything works smoother?  Is WD-40 a no no?  I want to use a spray so I can really get into hard to reach areas.

Silicone w/ ptfe is the GM recommendation I believe.  WD-40, engine oil, etc. will all work fine though.

Try Graphite spray.

Is this available at auto parts stores?

3n1 oil works great and the bottle has a long nozzle, a couple of drops of 5w, 10w etc motor oil works great too.

Castle Thrust

The only thing guaranteed to work.

Spray it on, fully work the hinge back & forth several times until free, wipe off access and spray with white grease.

Ok, thank you!  Getting a lot of good help here.  They are pretty stiff so I need to do something.
