Shift Interlock for "park"

For a 95 monte Z34 does the park shift interlock need to be connected? or can I disconnect it at the floor shifter?

Is this related to the same issue: Shifter Hard to Move Out of Park?

So, it's not a problem any other time than from getting out of Park?

Have you removed the center console and looked at the safety mechanism?

I don't think you'll have an issue if it's unpluged, but try it out in a controled environment.

Yes this is same issue ... really dont know why this turned out to be new post ... but I still havent taken out the center console to look at safty .. or cable ... most likly next weekend after the snow..just wanted to know what I can expect..
