PMlll and Fire wall plate.

My 90' CS vert is having PMlll problems and I want to replace it with a standard vacuum. I have read that the fire wall plate from the F-Bodies will fit and would not require dash and HVAC removal. Just wondering has anyone done the swap using parts from the F- bodies? Was it easier? Or is it inevitable to pull the dash to do the swap?

This guy has used a hydroboost swap.  Otherwise you can use an F-body booster with an adapter made to bolt to the firewall in place of the PMIII.
