scottwhite98 Posted September 29, 2018 Author Report Posted September 29, 2018 Yup. Mine looks a bit different. There are two lines coming from it. A small plastic line and a hard steel line that goes under the inspection cover. Both of these hold vacuum. I guess that only leaves the fuel pump? Quote
55trucker Posted September 29, 2018 Report Posted September 29, 2018 (edited) The steel tubing runs down to the vacuum modulator on the trans. One more test you can try.......pinch off the return fuel hose under the throttle body back to the tank, see if you still a low pressure situation, *one last thought.......you did Not mention whether or not you can hear the pump priming when you turn the key to *run*.........either the pump won't spin up or the relay will not let it...... If you're satisfied that you've eliminated the FPR as the low pressure source & there's no other location along the fuel lines where pressure can be lost then you're dropping the tank to go get the pump out.
