briandors Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 1995 Cutlass Supreme. The light has come on a couple times in the past week and stayed on for maybe 1-2 restarts, then it goes away. When it has come on, it was while I was driving. Should I start by examining the wheel speed sensors? Just look for frayed wires, or is there some cleaning I should do too? What would I clean them with? If there's nothing obviously damaged, am I stuck paying for an ABS code scan? Will that tell me exactly which wheel is setting the light? Thanks, Brian Quote
ismellrealbad Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 Getting an ABS scan will tell you exactly why the light is on to begin with. same concept with the ses light Quote
sl3196 Posted December 4, 2003 Report Posted December 4, 2003 My 96 cutlass was doing the same thing. My rotors were also warped so I replaced them. No more ABS light. Does your pedal shake? Quote
