NCTyphoonKid Posted May 1, 2018 Report Posted May 1, 2018 Working on this z34 front bumper, it had a couple cracks along the seam from where someone hit something, I used a 3m bumper repair kit and fixed the cracks and built the areas up for sanding also filled in the plate holder screws, does anyone have any tips for sanding in the seam lines and for getting this prepped for paint. 94 olds vert Posted May 1, 2018 Report Posted May 1, 2018 Be careful sanding. Take care not to dig too deep. You want the surface to be as smooth as possible. What I mean by that is no high or low spots. I would spray primer on it. Then see how it looks. It's easier to sand down primer and fix problem areas. Quote
Imp558 Posted May 1, 2018 Report Posted May 1, 2018 I would shape it by hand, and there may be a file involved if it were mine. At least you have the technology to build up parts that go astray. Quote
