Thinking about painting my rims

Semi gloss black. I have the cross lace rims and thought about painting them with that paint that can be peeled off down the road. Anyway thinking about semi gloss black like the rims on the Grand Nationals. Believe that would make my GP different, but not ricer boyish. It's red and the wheels are the aluminum colored cross lace. Really been thinking about finding some 5 spoke GP rims like on the 95-96 GTPs. Really like those.

The Xlace rims in black with a polished lip look great.

These could use a little cleaning and some Mothers but you get the idea. I did these a few years ago and used to put a little Mothers on them a couple times a year. The wheel paint is hard to hurt but it does chip a little. These wheels were driven through a winter too.

Black wheels on a red car don't personally suit my taste, call me retro, but that's me,

 

what I consider to look good is the Petty finished wheels on the red GP.
