90KUTTY
okay heres the problem, when my automatic transmission goes from gear one to gear two the car makes a stronge jerk and this also happens when getting on the highway punching the gas, could this be bad front or rear motor mounts or what? Redfox340
Is it a internal jerk from the auto tranny? Or when you say 'jerk', do you mean a 'clunk' noise or something to that effect? If it's a clunk, yes, it could be a Torque Strut (Engine Dog-Bone); which side is it coming from? The more details, the more we can help you. - Erik
silverbulletz34
That's exactly what my old cavalier was doin before the tranny went out. It would jerk real hard from first to second. Then one day second gear was gone. , but that's the reason I have my Lumina z34 today so it turned out for the better
90KUTTY
no clunk noise, just when i punch the gas it gives a strong jerk that iknow is not normal, i think the motor mounts is the problem when i switch from park reverse and so on the engine moves quite a lot
