I read an article how one of their guys has a background in music and began researching how pipe organs attenuate sound with pipe length and direction. This was the idea behind the effort and actually reminds me of the research Flowmaster did hinder sound but not flow. I'm curious if a section of these tubes, put together like a round canister muffler might work in place of the resonator behind the 3800.

 

 

BMW actually used similar technology to get such a pleasant sound from the 3 cyl turbo in the I8 sports hybrid.
