99RegalGS Posted December 2, 2003 Report Share Posted December 2, 2003 I've seen quite a few Regals with the clear side lamp cover. And I see some with the amber side lamp cover (like mine). Bake82 Posted December 2, 2003 Report Share Posted December 2, 2003 Sean i don't know, but I remember Shawn(Gnatgosplat) told someone that those clear corners came stock on some Regals. So I'd either hit up a Y/J or the Dealer if you are looking for them. I don't know why, but My guess is different years with different Option?? who knows..it is GM we're talking about here! Yours are amber because 88-91 didn't have the little amber reflector on the side of the bumper like 92-96 do. ALL 94-96 Regal coupes have clear corners, including GS. All 92-93 Regal coupes have clear corners EXCEPT GS! So there ya have it. Why 92-93 GS's were excluded from the change to clear corners... I have no idea. Maybe in the early 90's, amber = sportier? Personally, I prefer clear. I ditched the amber corners on my Silverado because clear is available. I like the amber on the lighter colors. here is a pic of a Black Regal w/ clear corners. I want a black Regal too. I think it looks good.
