Shifter removal

I am dismantling a '94 Cutlass convert and for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the shifter handle removed so I can remove the console.  I know there must be a fastener somewhere but it seems to have eluded me.  Any help on this?

Put it all the way back into low2, then look at the front of the handle towards the bottom. you should see a clip, reach in with a little pick or tiny screwdriver and pry it out the front.

Got it - thanks!  The manual calls out a screw that holds the shift knob to the lever so I was looking for a hidden screw.....
