Pm3 replacement

I'm looking to replace the pm3 set up on my 1990 tgp. I've heard there is a way to replace it completely and run a vacuum brake set up. What all parts do i need and is there a write up about doing this?

There should be something about this subject in the TGP section I would think, definitely here somewhere you just have to search a little.
