Cutlass Spoiler Holes

Recommended Posts

Posted

I got a spoiler for our member in Connecticut, and measured the holes...figured it would be potentially helpful.

The holes are "waterproofed" using a donut of putty to seal around the holes..Home Depot has a perfect putty that's used to seal duct work. A pound of it costs less than $4.00, and the stuff has a million uses.

I will post more pictures later, but here's the dimension from the bottom lip of the trunk.

I looked at the original pictures, the metric scale was the clearest, 11mm, which translates into.43 inches. Note also there’s a donut of putty around each one.

Yep, thanks, it was probably a metric tool that made them. This will be my #1 project next spring.
