Parking brake pad replaced (purely for the looks)

First the "before" pics - do they all get like this? That is, the ones that do have the "pump to set" metal part??

By the way, the GM part for this is 12509085 - not 100% sure they all have the metal part, I've seen so many that are just rubber.
