2001goldGTP Posted May 23, 2017 Report Posted May 23, 2017 Hello, I figured i would share my experience with the chemical guys wax that I tried on my cutlass. Summary, wow would recommend. I forgot to get before pictures, just remember that 95% of this paint is from 1992. I started with the mequire's clay bar kit and did the entire car. Then I used the chemical guys "white light" bonding wax. It states to wait 15 minutes before removal and wait another 30 mins be applying another coat of any wax. I finished with the butter wax which straight forward wax. All the wax came free amazingly easy, especially for letting it sit. I was nervous that it was going to be a pain but it really nice and came out great. The flat surface on the front bumper hasn't had a reflection since the 90s lol Imp558, rich_e777 and pwmin 3 Quote
Grandprix1 Posted May 23, 2017 Report Posted May 23, 2017 Nice. I've been wondering how that stuff works. I use Adam's Polishes and LOVE it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote

I would like to know how well it works on a black car now that I have 3 of them. Quote

2001goldGTP Posted June 13, 2017 Author Report Posted June 13, 2017 Ok finally got to the black car. There is some serious damage to the paint that I a mere mortal with arms cannot fix. It must be nice to be as rich as the original owner of this car, the sticker price was 93k, and the owner couldn't care to maintain the appearance. I did find the chemical guys was much easier to use than the turtle was black kit I bought a few months back. The shine and depth of reflection is definitely better than the turtle was black paint kit and less messy. Imp558 1 Quote
