sean1991olds Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 So these are some recent eBay purchases, and I wondered, who would have worn this GM10 pin? I thought GM10 was an internal code name for the W's? The listing said that it was a from a former Olds employees collection. Then, I have this next one... sort of related to W-Bodies - inside there is press info on Olds Aerotech, Buick Reatta, Chevy Venture, Pontiac Banshee, Buick Lucerne, Cadillac Voyage, GMC Centaur, GM Sunraycer, Pontiac Grand Prix, Buick Regal Limited, Olds Cutlass Supreme, Chevy Beretta GT... This was a press kit put together for GM's new models, and concept cars by all GM makes in 1988, it was an exhibit too at various cities in the US. The sellers father worked with Roger Smith and kept some items - we're not sure if Roger actually wore the pin. rich_e777, 89-W-Body-Regal and oldmangrimes 3 Quote
94 olds vert Posted April 22, 2017 Report Posted April 22, 2017 I showed that GM 10 pin to my dad. He worked at the GM Tech Center in the 80s and early 90s. He said he remembered a "suit" wearing a GM 10 pin except with a Pontiac logo when he watched an instructional video on how to install body moldings on the 1988 Grand Prix. sean1991olds 1 Quote
Imp558 Posted April 22, 2017 Report Posted April 22, 2017 I bet that's a little bobble they handed out to a 10 year seniority employee. Quote
