Weather is getting nice. Going to start looking at why my charging system is offline. 1998 GP GT.

 

These are tbe grounds I found in the service manual. Am I missing any?

 

G100 - base of battery

 

G111, G113 - above starter on transaxle stud

 

G117 - engine compartment ground, above G111,G114

 

G200 - behind fuse block

 

G302 - right door sill, forward of front seat

how many threads does this charging system now have rolling at the same time?

Locating grounds could be specific to any number of problems I would think. What difference does it make anyway?? The only other thread that's more or less current is about batteries, you can reread my op if you're unclear. Where people took the thread down it's course is no fault of mine.

What car is this for? If it's for 2nd gens this will be helpful for finding all my grounds. Only found 2 so far

Have you taken your car to Battery Wholesale yet?

 

They usually run a diagnostic check on your charging system for free.

I don't know of any battery wholesalers. When a battery is new I can go 10-12 miles. I can look but I doubt there's any that close. Probably have to buy another battery tonight for backup as I work the next 3 nights.

I just called 4. 2/#s no longet in service, the othet 2/said Jessica and Michael aren't available.

ok never mind. It was the alternator. The remanned one they sold me was a dud.
