Padgett Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 Delco. Say they replace black/brown. Are they OK for fuel injection nozzles ? Quote
Imp558 Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 It has a lot more to do with what they're made of and a lot less to do with what color they are. Quote
Galaxie500XL Posted February 24, 2017 Report Posted February 24, 2017 True. On the Buick 3300 I just repaired, the original o-rings were black. The replacements are an odd almost red color. I always use transmission fluid on my fingers to lubricate the o-rings and injector ports for installation. The o-rings slide on the injectors, and into their bores nicely, and the fluid won't damage the o-rings. Quote
Padgett Posted February 24, 2017 Author Report Posted February 24, 2017 Thank you. ATF also makes a good cleaner. Quote
