Galaxie500XL Posted February 24, 2017 Report Share Posted February 24, 2017 True. On the Buick 3300 I just repaired, the original o-rings were black. The replacements are an odd almost red color. I always use transmission fluid on my fingers to lubricate the o-rings and injector ports for installation.
