Grandprix1 Posted January 30, 2017 Report Posted January 30, 2017 Has anyone or does anyone know if it is possible to install the remote starter system for the 2nd Gen Grand Prixs into a Grand Prix that was not factory equipped with one? Im assumeing its just a small module thats got to be plugged in but not 100% sure. Grandprix1 Quote
runt Posted January 30, 2017 Report Posted January 30, 2017 For 2nd Gen you'd likely have to go the aftermarket route. 3rd Gen GPs had it as an option but there are a lot of difference between the generations of cars. Quote
Psych0matt Posted January 30, 2017 Report Posted January 30, 2017 I added it to my 06 by clearing the evap code. I have to do this every week or so, more when it's warm for some reason, but that's ok since I wont use it when warm This doesn't help at all Imp558 1 Quote
Nas Escobar Posted January 31, 2017 Report Posted January 31, 2017 It's possible to do but it's gonna have to be some sort of aftermarket system like a Viper or Clifford. Quote
Grandprix1 Posted February 15, 2017 Author Report Posted February 15, 2017 So its probably not worth my time then haha. It was a nice thought Quote
Imp558 Posted February 16, 2017 Report Posted February 16, 2017 You mean different or similar years? If both were the same year it wouldn't bee too terrible. Different years aftermarket would be easier. Quote
