ISO Wiring Ninjas

Recommended Posts

Ok so I am hoping there are a few wiring ninjas out there. I located a written pinout for my DIC and would like to see if anyone can tell me what wires I need for the TCS Switch, TCS on/off light and low Trac light.

The Second part to this is how can I wire up the switch and lights with out having the rest of the dic there.

If anyone can give me a write up on what is needed or how to do this would be greatly appreciated

That pinout tells you exactly what you're asking..

Purple/White = Trac Off light

Light Green = Low Trac light

Brown/White = Switch

I would assume that just putting a momentary contact switch on the brown/white and ground wire would achieve what you're looking to do.

What exactly are you trying to accomplish? I'm a bit lost here.

The best I can tell is he wants some way to turn the traction control on and off without the DIC?  I've tried to read between the lines but I'm pretty lost, too.

Ok I am ditiching everything from the dic, trying to figure out how I can use the harness wires for the dic to hookup a switch and 2 lights for the tcs

In short I am building my own kind of dic that will go in its place.

So you're trying to come up with your own buttons to replace the DIC?

Not all just a switch for the traction control and lights everything else is going bye bye
