Daermos Posted August 7, 2016 Report Posted August 7, 2016 Ok so I am hoping there are a few wiring ninjas out there. I located a written pinout for my DIC and would like to see if anyone can tell me what wires I need for the TCS Switch, TCS on/off light and low Trac light. The Second part to this is how can I wire up the switch and lights with out having the rest of the dic there. If anyone can give me a write up on what is needed or how to do this would be greatly appreciated Quote
digitaloutsider Posted August 7, 2016 Report Posted August 7, 2016 That pinout tells you exactly what you're asking.. Purple/White = Trac Off light Light Green = Low Trac light Brown/White = Switch I would assume that just putting a momentary contact switch on the brown/white and ground wire would achieve what you're looking to do. Digitaloutsider .... Thanks I fill like a noob I say that and brain did not process. Do You think it's possible to use the tcs switch that is already in car? Quote
Nas Escobar Posted August 9, 2016 Report Posted August 9, 2016 What exactly are you trying to accomplish? I'm a bit lost here. digitaloutsider 1 Quote
digitaloutsider Posted August 13, 2016 Report Posted August 13, 2016 The best I can tell is he wants some way to turn the traction control on and off without the DIC? I've tried to read between the lines but I'm pretty lost, too. Quote
Daermos Posted August 13, 2016 Author Report Posted August 13, 2016 Ok I am ditiching everything from the dic, trying to figure out how I can use the harness wires for the dic to hookup a switch and 2 lights for the tcs Quote
Daermos Posted August 13, 2016 Author Report Posted August 13, 2016 In short I am building my own kind of dic that will go in its place. Quote
Nas Escobar Posted August 13, 2016 Report Posted August 13, 2016 So you're trying to come up with your own buttons to replace the DIC? Quote
Daermos Posted August 13, 2016 Author Report Posted August 13, 2016 Not all just a switch for the traction control and lights everything else is going bye bye Quote
