jiggity76 Posted July 11, 2016 Report Posted July 11, 2016 Hey guys, just going thru some old pics on my phone and forgot I had a pic of a 4 door buick regal with the quad seats and dual consoles like the Gran Sport coupes. I figured this is pretty rare and wanted to know if anyone had some info on these Buick W bodies? Did they offer this as a option from GM or did someone just take the bench out and do the bucket conversion? Quote
Psych0matt Posted July 11, 2016 Report Posted July 11, 2016 Why wouldn't you post the picture, you walnut! Quote
Imp558 Posted July 11, 2016 Report Posted July 11, 2016 I remember seeing something like that in a thread Quote
jiggity76 Posted July 11, 2016 Author Report Posted July 11, 2016 Sorry bout that you Pecan! I will post it when I have time. Got to figure out how to do that again. The car was on a dealer lot when I was cruising the web one day. It's grey with grey cloth interior and has the full digital gauges like the Gran Sport coupes. I'll post pics soon along with some other cool pics I got on my phone. Psych0matt 1 Quote
mfewtrail Posted July 11, 2016 Report Posted July 11, 2016 I would assume that would be a conversion as I doubt they would have put buckets in a sedan from the factory. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted July 11, 2016 Report Posted July 11, 2016 the Regal was the only 4 door W available with quad buckets. Quote
ManicMechanic Posted July 11, 2016 Report Posted July 11, 2016 I believe fewer than 75 blue cars were made. https://www.iaai.com/Vehicles/VehicleDetails.aspx?ItemID=22380250&RowNumber=16&loadRecent=true Quote
Nas Escobar Posted July 11, 2016 Report Posted July 11, 2016 Thats interesting. I thought the Regals didn't even come with buckets. Everyone i see is bench Quote
jiggity76 Posted July 12, 2016 Author Report Posted July 12, 2016 Thanks for the pics ManicMechanic! I'll post mine maybe Wednesday or Thursday. Were these cars badged as Gran Sports too or was this a stand alone option on the 4 doors? I think the car pic on my phone is a limited or custom maybe. Quote

primergray Posted July 12, 2016 Report Posted July 12, 2016 Some grey leather rear buckets and console would be nice... Quote
jiggity76 Posted July 13, 2016 Author Report Posted July 13, 2016 Make me want to find a 91 Buick Regal four door and do a cool rear bucket seat conversion on it! Quote
digitaloutsider Posted July 13, 2016 Report Posted July 13, 2016 It's rare that I ever learn anything new about 1Gs, but huh... there you go. Quote

jiggity76 Posted July 13, 2016 Author Report Posted July 13, 2016 [/u Looks really clean inside, good shot of the rear buckets. Quote
jiggity76 Posted July 13, 2016 Author Report Posted July 13, 2016 Digital dash display. Car looks like a custom or limited model. This pic is probably 2-3 years old and I don't remember where it was located. Maybe you guys can tell from the area code. Car I think was listed under $2500 or maybe $2000 bucks. Anyway, wanted to start this post because I didn't know Buick even offered this option in the 4 door. Thanks for all the cool info and pics. That's why I love this forum! Quote
