Padgett
Was trying to pull a plug to examine but with moderate force the cap rotates but does not move. Does something need to be removed first or is it just hard to pull out ? (pic was before blowing sand off).
94 olds vert
Pull hard straight up on it. If that doesn't work try to pry it up with screwdriver. Be careful. I have had to do that to mine. Put dielectric grease on it for next time you pull them. Edited March 5, 2016 by 94 olds vert
Psych0matt
pull straight up, they might be tough if it's been a while, but I don't think I've ever broken one pulling one out. Putting one in, on the other hand...
94 olds vert
You broke one putting it in? I've never had that happen. I did break them pulling them out before.
Psych0matt
I think it was on my cutlass, I didn't take the stb off and kinda bent them to get them in, and one snapped. the others i did that with multiple times and they were fine
