2007 Impala Factory auto start 3.5 v6 Lt2

I have a factory auto start in my impala and every once in awhile I get this loud distinct and beyond annoying clicking noise after putting the key in. I've heard this is some sort of a common problem with them. Anyone else have the issue or know anything about it?? Any help would be great, I don't want to bring it to a shop.

It wouldn't happen to be more of a "thunkthunkthunk" sound coming from the car, particularly the rear, that does 3 times or so and stops? If so, I noticed it on our Impala we had. Found out it was just the Evap vent solenoid that cycles with key on. It seemed to be most obvious when inserting the key after a remote start.
