Just introducing myself. I'm fairly new to the

W body scene, I've been driving a 1990 base lumina coupe lho ever since I picked it up off of a guy from work for $300.00! BEST CHEAP CAR I EVER BOUGHT.

The first week I bought her I drove her on a 900 mile camping trip up to the Snowies in Wyoming. Took her through an all sorts of rough terrain, from snow drifts, to water crossings, and 4 wheel trails all of which I thought would kill my $300 dollar beater. But as I had her on cruise doing 85mph back to Denver she was running straight and didn't miss a beat. I WAS SOLD ON MY LITTLE LUMINA.

So it's three years later, and I have since obtained a 1992 z34, and a 1990 STE, and a 5 speed from a 91 grand prix from my local pull and pay. I have some swap dreams that I would like to become reality and have come here to get some help realizng those dreams.

I am currently doing some wiring on my z34. I have re-pinned the engine to firewall connector (not sure of the correct name for this connector) which I got off of another 1992 z34 at the junk yard. But of course they are different.

If anyone can help me figure this out, or point me in the right direction of someone who can I would be most appreciative! Also would like to network with some local enthusiasts to be able to learn all I can about these rides.

Thanks

Welcome to the jungle!! We got most of the Gen 1s. By the time Gen 2 came out our cars were already forgotten about. :(

I own a 94 Cutlass Supreme convertible myself. Im in the process of a restoration.

What exactly are you trying to repin for?

Welcome! Check out the FAQs section, that's where the write-ups are. Also we have announcements and planning threads for meets in the Events section and the Whatever thread that's always close to the top in the new content is like a wall thread.

Thanks for all of the greetingsand replys

-Nas escobar, I was trying to just replace the engine harness on the z34 because the only wiring left was the firewall connector and about a foot and a half of wire. All hacked up by the previous owner. The original connector/firewall harness had 27 wires, and the same year z34 junkyard harness I grabbed has 28 wires. I had to repin 4 or 5 wires and all match up on the new harness now except a blue wire, and a white wire. And the last wire on the OG harness is tan/black stripe and not in the same location as either the blue or white wire on the new harness. I am having trouble finding a z34 wiring diagram, (imp558 i will check the faq section, thanks) it's different than my base lumina. So I'm trying to figure out what the tan/black wire runs to, and then what to do with the remaining wire/wires.

-Euro I will add pictures soon.

Also, how is the front bumper on that 93? There is a plastic brace that is cracked on mine and may be interested in picking that up.

There was an update last year that broke paragraph spacing... If you are on the desktop version of the site, then you can edit your post by deleting the paragraph spaces and putting them back in. After you save your post it should be right..

If you're on the mobile version of the site like I am, then you just have to deal with all the posts you make being a wall of text..

The bumper is in fair shape, the lower driver side valence is cracked but to me its fixable with some bondo bumper urethane. Other than that one spot the body is in excellent condition, only scratchs. I have been thinking about grabbing the Z34 cladding just to hang onto until some comes looking for it. Ive seen worse still on the road.

Thanks for the info, guess I will have to deal with it since I am also on my mobile device.

The valance is also what is cracked on my z34, I can repair it. How about the dash? Color? Mine is grey. Some of the dash pad is lifting off by the defroster, and also on the lower driver side area.
