GTPer
Okay so I bought a ZZP pcm for my 97 gtp. I installed it and I swapped the knock sensor module over I think. But when I start the car the engine shakes and the check engine light flashes. Did I do something wrong? I really need help.

GTPer
What do you mean? Ask ZZP? I did but there slow in responding.
Imp558
Try the old pcm. never continue to run an engine with a flashing mil. If anything happened ignition wise verify the plug wires are routed properly
GTPer
Yeah I put the old PCM back in and the car went back to normal. So am I supposed to swap that knock sensor module and if so is that a little white thing that clips on pretty easy? Behind the two torx bolts on the PCM? Imp558
Seend it back to them just the way you received it.
White93z34
As the former owner of a 97' Bonneville I never swapped that module around I just left it alone. If the ZZP one didn't include it and doesn’t work with the one you have working in your existing PCM I'd go back at them and see what they think.
