Caliper rebuilding...

How do you know which rebuild kit to by from Rock Auto, when you don't know the brand of caliper that GM used. I have a 94 Cutlass Supreame with a 3.4 L motor. Did GM use different suppliers or just Bendex. Rock Auto shows mutiple brands that fit my Cutlass.

All of those *aftermarket* suppliers are not the original manufacturers of GM's brake component's. At that time period it would have been GM's chassis/brake division Delco-Moraine that provided the major hardware.

Any one of those suppliers you see in Rockauto just rebuild the various pieces by supplying new seals, pistons, bleed screws etc etc. If you're looking for a particular rebuild kit make your choice by your preference of rebuilder/supplier.

I rebuild and as far as can tell 55trucker is right on. Just different manufacturers of parts to rebuild the same thing.
