Mlewk
Hi. When I run the ac (especially if it's for a long period of time) water begins to pour out from under the passenger side Dash. It literally soaked my floor mats. Not sure the cause. Any ideas? Thanks
RobertISaar
your evaporator drain is plugged. look between the engine and firewall, there should be a ~1.5" long black rubber elbow somewhere near the center, maybe closer to the passenger side. should be pointing downwards. pull it off and stick something through the port to unblock whatever is in there. don't get too overzealous otherwise you may risk destroying your evaporator. sticking in anything longer than maybe 4" is probably too long. Galaxie500XL
If you've got ramps to drive up on, it's easiest to get to the drain from underneath the car...but that rubber elbow can be a pain to pop back on. I've seen on a couple of occasions the rubber elbow pointing UP--which obviously defeats the purpose.

Mlewk
Thanks a lot for the help. I popped off the drain elbow without lifting the car. The elbow was very dirty and clogged. I cleaned it out and made the exit hole larger and put it back on. Now it works perfectly. Thanks.
