89-W-Body-Regal
I took the opportunity of saving some pics from an old vintage pic thread I seen on here that hasn’t been dated since 2007. Here are some pics I am transferring from that thread posting from a member Scottster He posted really great pics and that’s before I joined here. I am trying to make this thread better. So here’s what he shared back then 😀 Edited December 10, 2018 by 89-W-Body-Regal ManicMechanic and vipmiller803

Nas Escobar
I didn't realize they thought about making the Regal with a T-Top. That would have made things completely different.

89-W-Body-Regal
This is exactly what my regal looked like when it was new. Same color and similar to the one in the pic with the rocker panel molding. It’s rare when you see a rocker panel molding on the ‘89 because it was really an ‘88 model since they didn’t have the top center moldings until the second year Between that women is sexy! Who would of known a hot women would be driving an old persons car Imp558

94 olds vert
Now every parking lot is filled with crossovers, SUVs, and Pickups. The small family car is out numbered now. 89-W-Body-Regal

94 olds vert
It really is a shame Pontiac never made a 1997-2003 Grand Prix Convertible.
Nas Escobar
It's a shame GM in general doesn't make coupes and convertibles anymore. I'd buy a Cruze or Malibu coupe.
94 olds vert
There isn't a market for those vehicles anymore. Most people are buying trucks, SUVs, or crossovers. It really is a shame the malibu or the impala isn't offered in a 2 door.
crazyd
There isn't a market for those vehicles anymore. Most people are buying trucks, SUVs, or crossovers. It really is a shame the malibu or the impala isn't offered in a 2 door. That's what J. Michael Losh said about 2-seat sportscars in his decision to end Fiero production in 1988. Mazda introduced the Miata the following year that sold like crazy, and went on to become the biggest-selling 2-seat sportscar OF ALL TIME - and humiliate a beancounter who knew squat about cars, but whose misguided decision was too late to undo. He was, of course, subsequently promoted. There is always a market for a beautiful design, regardless of what the prevailing wisdom of the day might indicate. Imp558
I don't know what this is. Appears to be abandoned in 2003 by whoever made it but there's some pics of early W-Bodies. http://redfox340.w-body.com/wbodyperformance/id1.html 94 olds vert
94 olds vert
That dark teal CSC was one of 107 with white interior. Depending on the top color could be 1 of 3 that had a white top. Imp558

Imp558
Didn't he get a perma-ban? Yeah, I read through all that a couple years ago. He was really rotten to another member. I think it was addicted2eaton. He was just crude all around looking at his old posts. Glad I never had the opportunity to meet him.
