Guest Anonymous Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 Aaron has a CAI. Search for any posts by him and look in his sig. Quote
93GTP Posted November 22, 2003 Report Posted November 22, 2003 I also have a RedZMonte CAI, it's not the easiest thing in the world to install, it requires relocation of the battery to the trunk, modification or fabrication to existing fender/bumper brackets, and relocation of the vacuum reservoir. Was it worth it? Hell yes. Quote
Aaron Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 IT WAS SOOOOOOOO WORTH IT check sig pic. here are some in-progress pics. sorry about the quality, the camera sucks ass. Quote
lolumz34 Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 I also have one. Can't get my pics uploaded to the web right now...but I also way ...worth it. Quote
93GTP Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 Your install is ugly as hell Aaron 8) Quote
Brian P Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 Your install is ugly as hell Aaron 8) yeah that 3rd pic looks like a trail of destruction. Have some respect for your car's underhood wiring! Quote
Aaron Posted November 23, 2003 Report Posted November 23, 2003 it actually looks awesome, but remember, that is with everything out of the way. The wires that are going everywhere arent my fault, the POS alarm system that doesnt work takes up some of them. youd have to see it to believe it. just look at the sig pic, it loosk good, just like 93GTP's. I was only messing with ya, it does look good. I got one question for you aaron, why did you notch out the body on your car? the round section thats cut out right about the intake? Is it because you left in the fender/bumper supporting bracket? I removed mine (which was very difficult because of some spot welds) and made new ones from aluminum stock: Quote

BimmerJr87 Posted May 2, 2004 Report Posted May 2, 2004 Hey I also have the 3.4 DOHC enigne and i was wondering how much piping did you need and what kind I need to use. Quote
Aaron Posted June 4, 2004 Report Posted June 4, 2004 I notched it becuz the intake rode high and it would rub against it if I didn't. We bought the intake from RedZMonte, http://www.mandsproduction.com He does great work and I am very happy with it. Quote
